ODAM 2015 Conference
The conference “Olomoucian Days of Applied Mathematics 2015” (ODAM) aims to be a forum for presenting new developments and applications of probability theory and statistics, fuzzy sets theory, group and multiple criteria decision making methods, numerical mathematics, and other branches of applied mathematics. The meeting will be organized in sessions with invited and contributed talks and posters.
The conference “Olomoucian Days of Applied Mathematics” (ODAM) came into existence through the initiative of Professor Lubomír Kubáček in 1999 in relation to the seminar of applied mathematics held by the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Applications of Mathematics at Faculty of Science of Palacký University in Olomouc, whose focus and topics were forged in cooperation with researchers from Mathematical Institute of Academy of Science of Czech Republic, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague, and Hydrosystem company. From the very beginning, the conference was conceived as a friendly meeting of experts in mathematical applications, which, over time, gave it a twofold focus – on mathematical statistics and fuzzy sets on the one hand, and mathematical modeling on the other – these two taking turns annually.
The deadline for submitting the paper from the conference ODAM 2015 to the journal Acta Universitatis Palackianae Olomucensis is extended until June 30, 2015.
The conferences ODAM 2011 and ODAM 2013 were held under the project "Streamlining the Applied Mathematics Studies at Faculty of Science of Palacky University in Olomouc" (CZ.1.07/2.2.00/15.0243). The project was supported by the European Social Fund and the state budget of the Czech Republic.
